Sunday

Started off in the morning with breakfast at Sarnies, had The Fry Up, which was MASSIVE. Bacon + Mushrooms + Eggs + Toast + Chilli beans. He had the Breakfast for Champions - consisting of steak, scrambled eggs, guacamole(yum!) and a salad, which isn’t on the menu, but since he’s a regular, Pav(the extremely funny and friendly owner of Sarnies) whips it up for him.

The Fry UpBreakfast for ChampionsFelt like a genius for discovering the amazing taste of bacon dipped in guacamole.
I was also in love with the gradient of my Vanilla Latte
Drinks

Also had a debate on what colour his eyes are, which I swear change colour under different light, so I’m going to start keeping track using photos so I can prove that his eyes actually do change colour.

We then checked into Amara Sanctuary in Sentosa in preparation for Avicii at about 1pm(closer to 2 really), and I was wowed by how pretty and tranquil the entire place was, although in the daytime the muffled screams of people riding the rollercoasters in Universal Studios could be heard. Also, since I didn’t know which hotel we were going to stay in because I wanted a surprise, I was wowed from the very moment we got out of the cab.

Lobby 2Forgot to snap a picture of the refreshments table where there was kacang puteh and flavoured water and the signature iced tea(which was really really refreshing, or maybe because I was feeling really hot)

The room itself was beautiful and really huge, and it even had a balcony.

The glorious glorious King sized bed, which was the best and the fluffy pillows, which made me feel like screaming “ITS SO FLUFFY!!!!”

The bathroom itself was also gorgeous, with windows that overlooked lush greenery, which obviously, given my lack of artistic talent, I didn’t take pictures of. However, I have pictures of the bathtub(BUBBLE BATH!!)

Hotel Amenities were super spa style, Lemongrass hair products and Lavender bath products, which turned the bath water a purplish-blue, although bubbles were white.

Chilled out in the room until about 730, where we then headed to meet Nat and Rob at Wavehouse for predrinks before Avicii.

THEN IT WAS FINALLY TIME FOR AVICII.
I was really hyped up for the night, but the three others were pretty much hungover from Beerfest and thus not in the mood, especially him cos he wasn’t feeling well either, so I was kind of worried before the night started.

Met Ruiqi since I was selling the extra ticket to one of her friends, and they asked me to party together with them since we were all equally excited. He was also being a babe by telling me to not worry and have fun.

THUS THE NIGHT STARTED.
LIGHTS
It was really hot and humid for pretty much the first half of Avicii’s set. We only entered when he was playing anyway, then suddenly strong winds and a heavy downpour came and it seemed to excite the crowd further, since all of us were reveling in the welcome reprieve sent to us from the heavens. Partygoers seemed to go even more crazy and it was beautiful beautiful carnage.

After the end of the party, I walked along the beach to the shelter where he was waiting for me with Nat and Rob. Felt extremely loved because I was soaking, sandy, shivering and extremely intoxicated to the point where I couldn’t walk straight, and the moment he saw me being a drenched cat, he took me in his arms even though he was all dry and warm and toasty, simply because I was cold. Also cos Rob and Nat waited for me with him, even though they could have left earlier(I choose to believe its not because the taxi was prebooked for 12.15 - you may call me delusional).

Went back to the hotel and had a nice bubble bath, which somehow wasn’t that warm. Perhaps it had to do with the hotel being eco-friendly, so they only have lukewarm water.. Went to sleep in a nice and toasty bed though, the scent of lemongrass that filled the room via the burners was also really lush.

Woke up this morning cos of a ring at the door, by a staff requesting to check the minibar, which felt really strange. Went back to sleep after, and finally woke up at our own timing, then checked out and headed back to the main island cos he had work at 1pm.

xx
